Membership Committee

All community group associations must have the support and volunteer efforts of their community. The membership committee is dedicated to growing the members of the KCYLA. The committee works closely with the finance committee to ensure that our donors are recognized for their contributions. The committee is also hosting town hall forums near you to talk about the economy and other community issues.

Purpose- The primary purpose of the membership committee to is encourage young community members to join and become active in the KCYLA. The membership committee is also tasked with promoting, marketing, and advertising our members small businesses.

Goals- to ensure that our members have full time employment and that our businesses our successful

Duties- to have a KCYLA presence at the Spring Festival in White Salmon, Huckleberry Festival in Bingen, and Klickitat County Fair. To create and maintain a Plan to continue the growth the KCYLA. To ensure that our members, sponsors, and private donors are recognized for their efforts within the community.

Current Focus- The current focus of this committee is a membership drive & having a presence at the White Salmon Spring Fesitval

Recent Successes-
Amy was appointed the chairman of the committee on May 3rd 2009. She is procurring a banner for the association and will be in charge of our booth at the spring festival
